  • Completed workout history
  • Health metrics from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android): heart rate variability (HRV), VO2 Max, sleep analysis (duration, stages, bedtime, wake time), resting heart rate, and walking heart rate average
  • Daily strain and training load calculations
  • AI coaching conversation history and personalized recommendations

2.3 Device Information

We may collect:

  • Sync daily health metrics from Apple Health or Health Connect to provide recovery, strain, and wellness insights

4. GPS Location Data

4.1 GPS Tracking

The Worka mobile app uses your device's GPS to:

  • Track your running/cycling routes during workouts
  • Calculate distance traveled
  • Display your route on a map
  • Provide pace and speed metrics

4.2 Location Permissions

  • Location data is only collected when you actively start a GPS-enabled workout (running or cycling)
  • You can deny location permissions, but GPS-dependent features will not work
  • Location tracking stops when you finish your workout
  • Your location data is not shared with third parties
  • Routes are stored on our servers associated with your account

5. Bluetooth Data

The Worka mobile app connects to Bluetooth heart rate monitors to:

  • Receive real-time heart rate data during workouts
  • Calculate heart rate zones
  • Provide workout intensity metrics

Bluetooth data is only collected when you connect a heart rate monitor. We do not access other Bluetooth devices.

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Data Storage

  • Your workout data is stored on our secure servers (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data
  • Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS
  • Data encryption at rest

6.2 Data Retention

  • We retain your workout data while you maintain an active account
  • You can delete individual workouts or your entire account at any time
  • Upon account deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We DO NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We may only share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With your explicit consent
  • To comply with legal obligations (court orders, government requests)
  • To protect our rights and prevent fraud

Worka is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending you an in-app notification or email (for significant changes)
